The Warriors' trio of stars proved ineffective against the unavoidable outcome in their defeat.

In Sacramento, as the final buzzer echoed and the Warriors faced defeat, there was no outburst of frustration, no defiant gestures, no disrespect towards their victorious opponents. Instead, there was a symbolic acknowledgment of the Sacramento Kings' triumph and a sober recognition of the inevitable reality that unfolded in a decisive 118-94 loss in the NBA Play-In Tournament on Tuesday night at Golden 1 Center. "We've been incredibly fortunate here with exceptional players, multiple championships, and appearances in the Finals," remarked coach Steve Kerr. "We've experienced the pinnacle of success. And now, this is the other side of the coin. This is life. This is the way things unfold. You can't remain at the top indefinitely." The illustrious recent history of the Golden State Warriors offered no advantage against the youthful, more determined Sacramento Kings in this play-in matchup. The Warriors found themselves powerless as memories of their...

Gabe Vincent's historic night humiliates Celtics in Game 3.

Despite being considered underdogs in the playoffs, the Miami Heat defied expectations in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. They delivered a stunning blow to the Boston Celtics, winning 128-102 with an exceptional performance from guard Gabe Vincent. While Jimmy Butler has received much attention in the series, Game 3 showcased Vincent's brilliance as he scored an impressive 29 points, setting a new record for the most points scored by an undrafted player in conference finals history, according to TSN's Keerthika Uthayakumar.

In Miami's dominant victory, Vincent took charge by displaying an impressive shooting performance. He converted 11 of his 14 field goal attempts, including 6 of 9 from beyond the arc. Following the game, Vincent acknowledged his teammates and the supportive Miami crowd for contributing to the Heat's commanding performance. He expressed gratitude for their defensive efforts, shot-making abilities, and ability to force turnovers. Vincent attributed part of their success to the energetic atmosphere created by the home crowd.

While Butler had a relatively subdued night, scoring only 16 points on 5-of-13 shooting, Vincent's fellow undrafted teammates, Duncan Robinson and Caleb Martin, stepped up admirably off the bench. Robinson recorded 22 points, trailing just behind Vincent, while Martin contributed 18 points for the Heat. Together, they shot an impressive 64 percent from the field and combined for nine successful three-point shots.

In a crucial Game 3 that required a strong showing from the Celtics, they instead delivered one of their most lackluster performances of the season. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, typically reliable scorers, combined for just 26 points, both falling short of their usual scoring output of 15 points or more. This marked only the second time this season that they were held to such low individual point totals.

After the Celtics' disappointing display, Brown appeared speechless, unable to find the right words to describe their dismal performance. He expressed his frustration by acknowledging the embarrassment they felt as a team.

With a 3-0 deficit in the postseason, the Celtics now face an uphill battle, as no team has ever come back from such a disadvantage. In contrast, the eighth-seeded Heat are on the verge of reaching the NBA Finals, needing just one more victory.

The Heat will have an opportunity to clinch the Eastern Conference Finals when they host the Celtics for Game 4 on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. ET.
