Ricky Starks has confirmed his participation in the Blackjack Battle Royale at AEW Double or Nothing

Could Ricky Starks be the wrestler to put an end to Orange Cassidy's impressive reign as the AEW International Champion?

During the latest episode of "AEW Dynamite," Starks revealed his aspirations to participate in the upcoming Blackjack Battle Royale at Double or Nothing. This match will feature Cassidy defending his title against a field of 20 other competitors. Starks, who has been engaged in a feud with Jay White and Juice Robinson from Bullet Club Gold, discussed his intentions for Sunday's event in a backstage interview with Renee Paquette.

Starks expressed his frustration with his ongoing feud against Bullet Club Gold, stating, "It's always the same thing. Jay and Juice beat me up in every single match, and I'm tired of it! I've reached a point where I have nothing to lose. So, at the Blackjack Battle Royale on Sunday, I'm refocusing my energy on winning the International title."

However, Starks' interview was abruptly interrupted by White and Robinson, who ambushed him and proceeded to viciously attack the former FTR champion. Helpless and defeated, Starks remained on the floor as the segment concluded.

As of now, there is no information available about the other 19 participants in the Blackjack Battle Royale. However, wrestlers like Powerhouse Hobbs, QT Marshall, Action Andretti, Big Bill, Daniel Garcia, and Konosuke Takeshita are not scheduled for any matches at Double or Nothing, indicating that they could potentially be part of the battle royal. It's worth noting that even White and Robinson are not included in the card for the pay-per-view on Sunday.

Cassidy took the initiative to introduce the concept of the Blackjack Battle Royale, where he willingly offered to face all contenders seeking a chance to challenge him for the International Championship. In his most recent title defense, Cassidy emerged victorious in a grueling match against Kyle Fletcher on Wednesday's episode.
