Metallica fans can expect plenty of bang for their buck with the M72 World Tour.

The band has been playing huge multi-hour sets so far on the first run of shows. The iconic Thrash Metal group has returned to the US they kicked off the North American leg on Friday, 4 August.

The iconic rockers will come to Olympic Stadium, Montreal on 11 August and 13 August.

Metallica has been playing two different sets on each night of the tour so far. It includes a split of tracks from their 2023 album 72 Seasons as well as their greatest hits.

How long are Metallica concerts?

The iconic Thrash Metal band has been on the road throughout Europe during the summer. It included two huge performances at Download Festival.

Metallica's first show at MetLife Stadium took place on Friday, 4 August. The band took to the stage at 8.45pm and performed until 11pm - lasting 2 hours 15 minutes.

The band's first show at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, CA, on Friday, 11 August, lasted from 8.50pm until 11.05pm. The performance lasted 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Metallica plays two different sets on each of the nights of their stops on the tour. So fans heading to the first show at MetLife Stadium will hear a different setlist than fans heading to the second night.

It means there might be a slight difference in timings depending on which night you attend.

What time does the Olympic Stadium show start and end?

The doors will open at 4.30pm, according to the venue's website. The concert itself will start at 6pm.

Metallica will be supported by two different acts each night, who will both perform sets before Metallica takes to the stage. During the recent European run of shows, the band took to the stage around 8.45pm each night.
